Terms and conditions
Rental, cancellation and refund. The section on conditions is a bit long-winded, but nevertheless useful when booking a stay at the camp or renting a canoe.
Payment
All prices in Ly Outdoor Camp's online booking system are stated in Danish kroner - including VAT and taxes unless otherwise stated.
Payment is made using one of the accepted payment methods for online booking. A fee will be charged according to the applicable rules from the payment provider. The amount will be deducted from your account after you have booked and paid.
For cabins and glamping, 50% of the total price is paid upon booking and 50% 30 days before arrival.
For all places, 100% payment is required in advance when booking.
For larger groups and regular guests, individual payment terms can be agreed upon.
Payment for administrative bookings follows the above rules, however, the customer will have 5 business days to complete the payment based on the invoice sent.

Information about trading on the Internet
You can shop safely on the Internet through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are basically protected against any misuse of your credit card online. Therefore, there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the Internet. You can read more about how to shop safely online at payment.dk, fdih.dk og forbrug.dk.
Booking and delivery
When booking and paying for a cabin, a glamping tent, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan, van or camper, as well as choosing accessories, you will receive a booking confirmation from Ly Outdoor Camp, which contains the details of your purchase. The contract can be printed from the website after booking and will also be sent to you by email to the email address provided.
Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at Ly Outdoor Camp on the day of arrival - and ends upon departure on the day of departure. Both of these times are stated in the above-mentioned booking confirmation.
Unused days will not be refunded once you have started your vacation.
Your booking can be transferred to a third party both before and during your stay (does not apply to permanent residents). The transfer is made by contacting Ly Outdoor Camp, where information about new guests must be added to the existing order confirmation. When transferring a booking to a third party, an administration fee of DKK 200 will be charged.
We strive to deliver what you as a guest want, but reserve the right to change any booking made for a specific pitch/cabin to a pitch/cabin of a similar standard, without the booking being considered invalid.
Rental of cabins and glamping tents
The maximum number of people and animals allowed in the cabin/glamping tent is as stated on the website and in the booking system. This is in compliance with fire regulations. Final cleaning is a mandatory additional cost. Cabins and glamping tents must be left tidy and facilities in working order. Dishes must be cleaned, dried and put away. If dishes are not washed or put away, we reserve the right to charge a fee corresponding to the additional time required to clean. Duvets and pillows may not be used without bed linen, you must either bring your own or rent them from reception. The tenant is responsible for any damage that occurs to the cabin/glamping tent, the furnishings or the dishes during the stay and will be charged an amount corresponding to the cost of repairing the damage. All cabins and tents are non-smoking.
Right of withdrawal and refund
When booking with Ly Outdoor Camp, the following cancellation and refund rules apply.
Cancellation products
When booking, cancellation products can be purchased, which provide extended refund options:
Pitch, camper and tent site:

Standard (195 kr.): 100% refund if cancelled no later than 30 days before arrival.

Plus (249 kr.): 100% refund if cancelled no later than 14 days before arrival.
Glamping and cabins:

Standard (495 kr.): 100% refund if cancelled no later than 30 days before arrival.

Plus (595 kr.): 100% refund if cancelled no later than 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation products are per unit and the refund is exclusive of the price of the cancellation product.
Without cancellation product
If a cancellation product has not been purchased, the following applies:

If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the booking amount will be refunded minus a 25% administration fee.

No refunds will be given for cancellations 30 days or less before arrival. In these cases, please refer to the guest's own travel insurance.
General terms
The conditions for cancellation and refund apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, including personal circumstances and force majeure (including strike, lockout, epidemic/pandemic or other circumstances that are considered force majeure under Danish law).
Right of Cancellation
We would like to point out that a booking is not covered by the Consumer Agreement Act's rules on the right of cancellation. The sale of accommodation (cabins, summer houses, camping, etc.) is covered by a special exception in the Consumer Agreement Act's section 18, subsection 2, no. 12. The booking made is therefore not covered by a 14-day right of cancellation. The reason is that re-letting a reserved cabin/apartment/site that is cancelled just a few days before arrival will often not be possible.
Registration of information
Ly Outdoor Camp registers your name, address, email and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer database. The information is not disclosed, but Ly Outdoor Camp retains the registration for five years.
Ly Outdoor Camp uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site.
When paying by credit card, the registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.
Ly Outdoor Camp reserves the right to make corrections to prices in online bookings. In the event of errors, the prices stated on the website will always apply.
Complaint processing
If for some reason you do not receive confirmation of your purchase and you have not received an error message from the system, please contact us as soon as possible.
Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by normal review of your contract. You can complain in writing or orally. One year after receipt of the goods (stay), the right to complain ceases in accordance with Section 83, subsection 1 of the Danish Sales Act, unless otherwise agreed.
When Ly Outdoor Camp receives your complaint, it will be processed as soon as possible.
Complaints to external bodies
If you wish to have your complaint submitted to an external body, you can contact the “Center for Complaints Resolution”. If you do not find a satisfactory solution to your complaint in dialogue with the campsite or at the Center for Complaints Resolution, you can complain to the Consumer Complaints Board. The Consumer Complaints Board will make a legal decision in the case.

Conditions for renting canoes, kayaks and SUPs
Rental conditions
- Renter must be over 18 years old - children must be accompanied by an adult (over 18 years old)
- All canoes/kayak/SUP must be picked up and returned to Ly Outdoor Camp on the same day within the agreed time.
- The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the canoe/kayak/SUP through gross negligence, as well as any loss of these.
- The renter is liable for any damage to third party property caused by the canoe/kayak/SUP with their own liability insurance.
- No compensation will be provided for any damage to yourself or your belongings during the trip.
Safety
- Life jackets are provided for everyone - both adults and children.
- Ly Outdoor Camp cannot be held responsible for accidents involving the use of life jackets.
Sailing rules
- It is the tenant's responsibility to ensure that the canoe/kayak/SUP is sailed in accordance with applicable maritime regulations.
- Canoe/kayak/SUP must never be left unattended unless agreed with the landlord.
- Always keep as much distance as possible from other boats.
- Everyone must wear a life jacket while sailing.
- No waste may be thrown into the water.
- Flammable items are prohibited on board.
- Music systems and loud behavior are not allowed on board.
- Irresponsible behavior, such as significant alcohol consumption, is not permitted by any person on board.
Other rules for rental
- In the event of a desired, or unintentional, extension in relation to the agreed rental period, the tenant must immediately call Ly Outdoor Camp.
- If the sailing trip is extended in relation to the agreed rental period, the normal hourly rate is paid proportionally per 15 minutes the sailing trip is extended.
- It is the tenant's responsibility to notify the landlord in the event of any delays. If this is not done and the landlord deems it necessary to initiate a search, the tenant will be charged for this.
- The lessor is not liable for compensation in the event of cancellation of the rental due to weather conditions, missing vessel due to theft, breakdown or similar.
- In cases where the lessor is forced to cancel the rental and sailing due to weather conditions or other reasons, any rent/deposit paid will of course be refunded to the lessee.
- The landlord may refuse or terminate the rental at any time if it is deemed irresponsible to rent out or if the above rules are not complied with.
